Founded in 2005, CAD Signs has grown from a full-service sign shop into a trusted specialty signage contractor serving sign companies, architects, general contractors, developers, and property owners across NYC and Miami.

The Beginning
Alex Galeano founded CAD Signs at 21 years old with a used boom truck, basic tools, and a 1,500 sq ft shop in Union City, NJ. What started as a humble operation built on hard work and determination would grow into one of the most trusted sign installation companies in the region.
A New
Location
Growing demand from national sign companies pushed us to upsize. We relocated to a larger 2,500 sq ft shop in North Bergen, NJ more space, more capability, more work.
AT&T
Rebranding
CAD Signs landed its first major multi-store project rebranding 47 AT&T locations across New York City. A defining moment for the company. Ivan Navarro joined as an apprentice installer during this period and remains a key member of the team today.

Employees
While the 2008 recession hit the industry hard, CAD Signs grew through it. We acquired our first 7,500 sq ft building in Hackensack, NJ, built a fleet of 10 trucks, and grew to a team of 20 full-time employees.

Alex obtained his NYC-licensed sign hanger credential positioning CAD Signs as one of the few non-union licensed sign shops in the city. National sign companies took notice. This was the moment CAD Signs became a serious player in the NYC market.
10th Anniversary & Expansion
Celebrating 10 years, we purchased the adjacent warehouse adding 7,500 sq ft of fabrication and logistics space, plus two additional parking lots. The team kept growing and so did the projects.

Special Sign Hanger #233
Alex earned his NYC Special Sign Hanger license #233, one of the most prestigious credentials in the industry. With over 40 employees and a portfolio of major national accounts, CAD Signs had become the partner that sign companies across the country relied on.

Rope
Access
CAD Signs formally launched its SPRAT-certified rope access division purpose-built for high-rise sign installations where cranes and scaffolding can’t reach. A natural evolution for a company that had been working at height for 15 years.
Rebranding
A new look to match a new chapter. CAD Signs refreshed its brand identity to reflect 20 years of growth, credibility, and a broader range of services while staying true to the values that built the company.
Miami Expansion
After months of planning, CAD Signs opened its second location in Miami, FL bringing the same licensed, certified, and credentialed team that built our reputation in NYC to a new market. The next chapter starts here.
